Our Sportsman was in baseball's minor leagues.

If you don't believe it share some baseball humor with Kathy's Mr. Chuckles.

Chuck is a true gentleman at the bridge table with impeccable manners and ethics.. His many contributions to bridge and our unit have been varied and widespread. Playing bridge with him is truly a delight. Partners never hear criticism and are always thanked for playing regardless of the game's outcome.

Chuck's home runs include:

Maintaining Unit 114 Web page & always ready to assist any local club in designing and implementing a Web site. Creating and maintaining Web sites throughout the Southeast (Mid-Atlantic Bridge Conference and Districts 9 and 10). Gold Life Master Novice lecturer at tournaments on a volunteer basis and always willing to answer newcomers' questions and assist them in improving their game. Served on Unit 114 Board of Directors for 14 years. Served 9 years as Unit recorder. Associate District 7 Recorder 1991 to present. Member, National Goodwill Committee Nominated this year for National Appeals Committee

Married to Kathy Whidden for 17 years and travels with Kathy and assists her as needed in her directing endeavors.
