JIM MORGAN
Unit 114 Sportsman of the Year for 2003
(by Ruth Suggs)
The Robins Duplicate Bridge Club proudly submits Jim Morgan's name for our Good Sportsman of the year.

Jim began playing Duplicate Bridge in 1995.  He is an avid player and supporter of Duplicate Bridge. Jim is an active member of Robins Duplicate Bridge Club and the Macon Duplicate Bridge Club.

He is a fierce competitor and supports our UNIT 114 and MID-ATLANTIC Regional tournaments.  He is well respected by his various partners as well as the opponents.

While running his business "Happy Balloons" and playing at least five times a week, he still has the time and strength to support all special events that enhance both clubs such as the North American Open Pairs (NAP), Grand National Teams (GNT), Life Master/Novice programs, the Youth Bridge program and the teaching program.

In 2001, he attained the rank of Silver Life Master and competed on a Grand National Team to the final round in Toronto, Canada.  He is studying to become a club Director.  Jim has also served on the Board of Directors at the Macon Duplicate Bridge Club.

Jim is the perfect sportsman and we ask for your most serious consideration to have Jim Morgan proudly represent our UNIT 114 as 2003 Good Sportsman of the Year.
