ABSENTEE VOTING INSTRUCTIONS
The period during which candidates were allowed to declare their candidacy
for the Unit Board has now expired. At this point, we are now able
to prepare a ballot.
Some voters sent in requests for ballots, or sent e-mails that they might
have considered to be ballots, prior to the end of the time during which
additional candidates could have declared. Therefore, those requests
or attempts to cast ballots are not valid.
In order to cast an e-mail or absentee ballot, a Request for a Ballot must
be made to the appropriate Area Election Monitor setting forth the following
information:
A. Voter's full name
B. Player number
C. Mailing address
D. E-mail address, if you have one
F. A specification as to which Area you reside in, so we know which
Area ballot to provide to you.
G. Statement requesting a ballot
Send this information to Mike Kovacich (mkovacich@bellsouth.net) for the Northeast Area, and to Nancy Hetsko (nhetsko@gmail.com) for the Northwest Area and also for the Metro Atlanta Area.
Once the request is made for either an e-mail or an absentee ballot, you
will be sent a numbered ballot by either e-mail or postal mail. This
ballot will contain instructions, including the number of people for whom
you can vote. The numbered paper ballot or a return e-mail reflecting
that ballot number must be returned to the appropriate Area Election Monitor.
ALL ABSENTEE OR E-MAIL BALLOTS MUST BE CAST AND RETURNED TO THE APPROPRIATE
AREA ELECTION MONITOR NO LATER THAN MARCH 25, 2008.
In order to insure the security of the ballots, the Area Election Monitor
may request additional verification from anyone seeking a ballot, particularly
if anyone is desiring to vote using an e-mail address other than their
own personal e-mail address (i.e., work e-mail or a friend's e-mail, etc.).
